i walked home tonight and decided that after i exited central park i'd walk straight across 72nd st. on the north side, between 2nd & 3rd, i came a cross a patch of sidewalk in which the signatures of famous women artists were inscribed:

had never passed it before and not sure why they are there, but my art history nerd self did get a little smile on my face.
