swap anniversary!

today marks the anniversary of one of our favorite features at TFAAF - this week's swap.

the swap meet that takes place on the shelf in my lobby has served - so far - to find new homes for so many gems. please take a walk down memory lane with me and remember:

well, to be fair, the mug and one bowl seem to match. and then the dinner plate and another bowl seem to match. they're just not cohesive enough for me.

BONUS swap!

more garments - this time two button downs. couldn't tell if men's or ladies - appeared to be a men's cut, but with rather feminine patterns. it appears my lobby is turning into goodwill.

is the excel 2003 bible and and intermediate accounting textbook. yes, the nerdberger in me was tempted to take the excel.

is a pair of cataract sunglasses and faux potted violets. seriously, who is leaving this crap? my neighbors appear to have moved out. but, they were two college dudes, so i doubt these were in their possession.

somehow...

these two gems - broadway-inspired crafternoon needlepoints - did not make the swap, but instead sit sadly in the recycling bin.

is a double offering: a basket of faux mini-sunflowers and a framed black & white pic of central park. as of this afternoon, the pic is gone, but flowers are still there, chintzing up the lobby.
