it is a universal truth that transit advertising will inevitably be defaced. this week's example is a baseball ad with A-Rod. note the sharpie-drawn syringe on his left arm.

tho an awesome work freakout - driven by a blank page, then black page, then toner dust shower - i do think his solution of just photocopying the monitor itself is pretty genius.

rainy days & mondays

it's a universal truth that rainy days in nyc results in a plethora of broken umbrellas on every street corner. 

on my five block walk back from getting coffee i counted 4 broken umbrella-ella-ellas. 

the perfect symbol for a depressing rainy day.

actually, nasty is a better word. i thought my last office was pretty bad. i think my new office is worse. this week, one stall had a toilet with the following in the bowl: no water, dried poop, and a cockroach.
