i get it, they're "world champions" (in a sport/league that features only one country, but whatevs).
but, the steelers' super bowl rings each weigh a quarter of a pound and contain 63 diamonds that equal 3.61 carats. who approved 63 diamonds?! just a tad extravagant, no?

not at all! the phillies world championship ring has 103 diamonds - one for each of the season's wins.
