i do know the answer to this question. and yes, it's true...not only have they changed the traffic patterns and closed broadway, they've bizarroly added lawn chairs for your urban enjoyment.

So it IS true, excellent. Reading an article in the NYT is not the same as seeing through the eyes of a trusted news source (aka Bizzaro Gnome).
