why i feel old, parts 3 & 4

so, two things today have me feeling my age: 

- first, there was a posting on our company intranet about an industry entry for up & coming talent. requirements included being a US citizen, able to travel and 28 or younger. sigh. 

- second, our guest speaker in a team meeting declared, 'i'm sure most of us in the room are under the age of 30.' um, actually, no. sigh, again. 

this, however, had nothing to do with the fact that my facebook status currently has me in the midst of an existential crisis of sorts.
