my mom sent me this snap from her camera phone - it's a veg she picked up at the farmers' market this weekend. supposedly it is a cross between broccoli & cauliflower. but i think it looks like something out of "little shop of horrors". i just hope she isn't eaten by audrey III.

Its broccoflower! For those of us wishing to avoid broccoli, its a nice alternative.
